About Wellness40

Wellness40 grew out of a very common experience after 40: starting to pay closer attention to the body, lab results, sleep, fatigue, eating habits, movement, and signs that used to go unnoticed.

When we looked for information about these topics, many of the answers we found did not feel satisfying. Some were too simplistic. Others promised easy solutions. Others were so technical that they seemed written only for professionals.

That is how Wellness40 began: an editorial project created by two technology professionals, both in their 40s and 50s, who decided to organize information about health, prevention, and quality of life with more clarity, responsibility, and usefulness for real life.

We are not doctors and we do not work as healthcare professionals. Wellness40 does not provide diagnoses, prescriptions, treatment plans, or individual recommendations about medical tests, medications, supplements, or clinical decisions.

Our work is different: we research, organize, and translate information from reliable sources to help adults over 40 better understand topics related to health, prevention, daily routine, aging, well-being, and quality of life.

The purpose of this site

Wellness40 was born from the perception that a lot of health information online falls into two extremes: it either oversimplifies, promising quick solutions, or it becomes too technical for someone looking for general and understandable guidance.

Our goal is to occupy the space in between: to produce clear, careful content based on solid sources, without alarmism, miracle promises, or replacing the evaluation of a qualified professional.

How we produce our content

Each article is developed through editorial research using recognized sources, such as scientific publications, databases like PubMed, public health agencies, reference institutions, clinical guidelines, and materials from medical or scientific societies when applicable.

From these sources, we organize content to answer real questions from adult readers, always guided by three principles:

What you can expect from Wellness40

Wellness40 publishes informational and educational content about health, prevention, habits, routine, aging, sleep, nutrition, movement, mental health, and quality of life after 40.

Our articles are designed to help readers better understand a topic, ask better questions, recognize when something deserves more attention, and have more informed conversations with healthcare professionals.

What Wellness40 does not do

Wellness40 does not replace medical appointments, psychological care, nutritional counseling, physical therapy, or any other form of professional care.

We also do not provide personalized guidance, interpret individual test results, recommend dosages, define treatments, or promise cures, disease reversal, weight loss, rejuvenation, or guaranteed prevention.

Our commitment

Wellness40 exists because we believe health information should be clear without being shallow, careful without being cold, and useful without becoming a promise.

We know that someone searching for information about poor sleep, fatigue, pain, lab tests, nutrition, menopause, high blood pressure, or changes after 40 is often not looking for a lecture. They are trying to better understand what may be happening, what deserves attention, and how to have a better conversation with a healthcare professional.

That is why our commitment is to treat these topics seriously, without turning information into fear, ready-made formulas, or individual advice disguised as content.
